Hi, we are a family of 5 planning to go on one of cruises from New Zealand, our kids are 7,5,2 Which room would be the best one for us? Thanks a lot

Hiya, pal! Thanks for sailing by planDisney. The Disney Wonder sails from New Zealand and has lots of magical things to offer. One of its rotational dining restaurants is Tiana's Place, a favorite of mine. Tiana and her friends will entertain you in her supper club while you enjoy a delicious Louisiana-inspired meal.

On Disney Cruise Line, there are four types of staterooms: inside, oceanview, verandah, and concierge. Because you are a pirate crew of 5, you can select the Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah or one of the concierge options. I always like to stay in a stateroom with a verandah. I have my morning coffee out there. I read out there. When we are leaving a Port of Call, I like to sit out there as we sail into open water. There is sometimes apprehension about staying in a verandah with young children, so I wanted to share that there are two locks on the door, one of which is toward the top of the sliding door. Also, the weight of the door is heavy, so they will not be able to pull it open.

I hope this helps as you get ready to book a vacation on the Disney Wonder. If you have any other questions, my planDisney pals and I would love to answer them.

    Adventure is out there!
