My family and I planning to go to magic kingdom on the December 23rd, 2023! I see that the event finishes on December 22nd. What do we expect to see on the 23rd? Thank you!!

Hello Jeancarlo! You’ve selected a very merry day to visit Magic Kingdom Park! I'm happy to explain why that will be a fun day to visit!

You’re correct that the special ticketed, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, will conclude on December 22, 2023. What happens on December 23 is quite, well…magical! Beginning on that day, some of the events that are exclusive to the after-hours party during November and most of December, become part of the entertainment during regular theme park operating hours! For example, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, which is usually held during the special Christmas party, becomes the parade during regular operating hours! So, Guests with a ticket and Disney Park Pass reservation for Magic Kingdom Park will get to enjoy the Christmas parade! In the past, including last year, the Christmas parade ran twice a day – 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM.

In addition to the parade, Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration stage show also took place last year during regular operating hours beginning on December 23. The show is typically offered several times each day from December 23 through December 31!

Perhaps most exciting is the Christmas-themed nighttime spectacular, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, which lit up the sky in previous years beginning on December 23! Not only are the fireworks spectacular, but the projection show on Cinderella Castle practically brings the castle to life with the merriment of the season!

Jeancarlo, everything that I’ve shared here is based on what has occurred in previous years, including last year, at Magic Kingdom Park! I strongly encourage you to visit the Walt Disney World Resort website (just use the links I provided in this answer) to check on the times for each of the events I mentioned in this answer!

    Happy Planning!
