My family is planning to go to Disneyworld on Dec 5-10 2011. My husband and I are thinking of taking my daughter that is one. Do you think she might be too young? Do you think it might be too much for her?

Hi Artemisa! Here is the best way I know to answer that question - with another question: Are YOU ready to take her to experience her first trip to Walt Disney World? It is true that she may be too young to remember much, if anything, at such a young age. However, I believe our children are never too young for US to begin making those precious "first" memories with them! With the proper planning, packing, and the right attitude, you can achieve a successful trip to Walt Disney World with toddlers and infants. We took both of our sons at the ripe old age of 7 months, and it was a wonderful experience both times. We made sure that we packed the right gear, and then planned to have feedings and naptimes as close to their regular times as possible. Disney provides wonderful Baby Care facilities within each Park, and I really enjoyed those precious moments when I held my sleeping little ones while taking in the magic of the surroundings all around us! You know your child best, so if you think that both she AND YOU have the right temperament to handle the sometimes intense conditions of theme park crowds, heat, and stimuli, then I say GO FOR IT, and begin creating those magical memories that you will only find in Walt Disney World NOW!
