Hi there, Carla, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy you're here with this great question about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! You'll be arriving so soon, and you must be so excited! You'll love kicking off your visit with an evening at Disney Springs.
Carla, it sounds like you're going to be doing some shopping before enjoying
Drawn to Life with your family. I understand the desire to snag some of those amazing snacks that Disney Springs is known for! Since I was unable to find any
rules about bringing outside food to the theater on the website, I contacted a helpful Cast Member named Karlene, who informed me that outside food and drinks are not allowed in the theater. You're welcome to ask upon arrival, as the Cast Members onsite will make the final decision. If you're driving, you might consider stowing your items in the car. Alternatively, you might save the food purchases for after the show. Any bags that you bring in with you should be small enough to stow near your feet or under your seat, for the comfort and safety of both you and other Guests.
If you have time for a meal while you're strolling and shopping, consider stopping by
The Polite Pig for some delicious barbecue. The brisket is my favorite, along with just about all of the sides on the menu! Then, head to
Swirls on the Water for a refreshing DOLE Whip dessert. If you're hoping to find some great Disney merchandise,
World of Disney is your go-to! Appropriately named, it has the largest collection of Disney merchandise in the world! And if you find that you've made the trip without essentials like socks, a rain jacket, or other basics,
UNIQLO has you covered (trust me, I know from experience)!
Carla, I hope your family has the very best time during your vacation. Please stop by planDisney with any other questions you have as you count down to your arrival!
See ya real soon!
