My family is planning on getting annual passes this upcoming year. My youngest will be 1 in January 2016. Even though we don't need a pass for her, does she need her own magic band?

    Hi Heather!

As you are aware, all children under the age of three who visit Walt Disney World Resort are personal Guests of Mickey Mouse and do not require theme park tickets or MagicBands. Your youngest child is welcome to own and wear a MagicBand if you get one for her. However, a MagicBand is not needed for her to enter the parks or FastPass+ return lines. Children under the age of three are permitted in FastPass+ return lines when accompanying an adult utilizing their FastPass+ selection. Both my 1-year-old and my 2-year-old daughters had their own MagicBands during our recent visit and wore them occasionally. I think they mainly just enjoyed matching their older brothers.

Please let me know if I can assist you with any other questions about Walt Disney World.

    Have a magical day!
