My family is planning our first visit to Disney World during the Christmas time. We are looking to go in either November 7-14 or December 5-12 in 2015 and we want to attend a MVMCP as well! We need the least crowded and best weather time. Please Help!

    Hi Misty!

What an incredible time you have selected for a first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.  Any first visit is completely magical, but seeing the parks decorated during the holidays, attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, and just enjoying all of the extra holiday spirit will really add to your Pixie Dusted adventure.

The great news is that both of these times tend to be very similar in both crowd level and weather.  It really depends on which dates work better for your schedule, but I would probably choose the December dates. While decorations in the theme parks begin appearing at the beginning of November, many of the resort decorations and famed gingerbread displays are not being constructed until the end of the month. (These are some of my favorite holiday decorations.)  Also, you can experience the true meaning of Christmas at one of my favorite events, the Candlelight Processional (usually beginning in early December.) Your hearts will melt as you listen to a celebrity narrator tell the story of Christmas, accompanied by an orchestra and mass-choir. It is incredible!

I hope I have been able to help you pick your dates, but if there is anything else I may assist you with, please let me know.  Have a wonderful vacation, Misty, and enjoy the holidays at Walt Disney World.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren
