My family is planning our first trip to Disney in June!!!! Ohana only had dinner reservations available for 9:45, and the restaurant closes at 10. Should I still book this time slot? Will I be rushed out??? Is it that good???

Aloha, Jill! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I'm so excited for a magical first trip for you and your family to my happy place, the Walt Disney World Resort. I hope it's the first of many!

'Ohana is a favorite and I can't recommend it enough! This family-style restaurant is not only delicious, it's a super fun experience that should not be missed. And, depending on your date and the entertainment schedules, you might even get some added pixie dust with magnificent views of Happily Ever After!

I definitely recommend you book it! I can guarantee you will not be rushed out and will have the same excellent service and experience, even with your later reservation time. If you wish, you can keep checking back for earlier times, especially as your dates get closer. Guests often change plans and availability may open up as close as 24-hours prior to your desired date.

A few tips about dining at 'Ohana… Pace yourself. Everything offered is so good, but you'll want to leave room for the world-famous bread pudding. YUM! Arrive early so you can explore the beautiful grounds at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. If the fireworks are scheduled early and before your reservation, head over to the beach for an unbelievable view. And lastly, if you have any room left after your meal, the Pineapple Lanai serves my favorite treat in all of Disney, the DOLE WHIP® Swirl.

I hope you have a magical time at 'Ohana with your 'ohana! Be sure to visit us again soon for any additional planning tips or with any more questions.

    See ya real soon! ~Emille
