    Hi! My family and I are planning a family trip for May 2017 for the Star Wars weekend...does anyone knows when does this events often begins (ex. 1st or 2nd week of May)? It's because I want to reserve the hotel and the date from now. Tks!

    Star Wars Weekends have been a must-do for my family for many years now.  It is "force-fully" amazing! Unfortunately, I don't know the specific dates for the event in 2017, but I can share with you that it is scheduled to begin mid-May this year (May 15, 2015, to June 14, 2015).  I also checked previous years and found it starting mid-May then, too. From this, it would seem logical to see a similar starting date continued, but I can't say for certain as events and plans can change from year to year at Walt Disney World. 

    I'd encourage you to regularly visit the Disney Parks Blog as events are often announced there first as well as the Star Wars Weekends website that I linked you directly to in the latter previous paragraph.
