hi there. Our family are planning to either win a Disney Vacation. LOL or plan a trip for 2024/5 (yes, you read right) we're not rich and in Soth Africa so need to plan waaay ahead. Is there a way to pay off your trip in advance?

Hi there, Melissa! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question!

I, too, would LOVE to win a Disneyland Resort vacation! But, so far, I haven't been that lucky! So I plan ahead for my trips and try to budget accordingly. Your best bet will be to book a vacation package. With a package, you can combine your theme park tickets, Disneyland Resort hotel, and rental car or airport shuttle into one transaction. Since it sounds like you'll be booking more than 30 days in advance, you will only need to pay a deposit at the time of booking. Then, you can make payments in any amount and at any time as long as your package is paid in full 30 days before you arrive.

The only downside is that you'll have to wait quite a bit before you'll be able to book for 2024 or beyond. Currently, Disneyland Resort vacation packages are available to book through the rest of 2021, with reservations for 2022 most likely becoming available near the end of this year. While you wait, you might consider setting up a special savings account with your bank for your future trip. If you add a little money here and there over the years, you could have a healthy amount to spend on your vacation by 2024/2025.

Finally, be sure to keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all the news and information about the Disneyland Resort. It will be a great resource for you while you plan your trip. And, of course, be sure to stop by planDisney again if you have any other questions. Happy planning!
