My family and I are planning on being at Disneyland on Jan 17, 2020. Is Disney planning on doing the virtual queue for Rise of the Resistance like WDW or what is being planned? Any tips for giving us a good chance of riding it that day? Thanks!

As they say on Batuu, Bright Suns, Brenda!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. How exciting you will be visiting the Disneyland Resort on such an iconic day! Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is going to be unlike anything we have seen before at the Disneyland Resort!

Like you, I have been also keeping an eye on what the protocol has been the last week at the Walt Disney World Resort with the opening of this attraction. Unfortunately, we haven't heard any details at this time about how this attraction will welcome Guests yet at the Disneyland Resort. My advice is to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog in the next month for more details. This will be a VERY popular attraction, my only recommendation at this time is to arrive as early as possible. You will want to get a good night's rest the night before!

While you are in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge there is still so much more to see, taste, and experience apart from this attraction. I love the famous Ronto Wrap at Ronto Roasters, having a galactic cocktail at Oga's Cantina, and shopping in the market stalls of Black Spire Outpost. Honestly, I could just walk around this land taking in the sights and sounds for hours. It truly feels incredible to be swept away to this far off planet while still being footsteps away from all your favorite classic experiences in Disneyland Park.

I hope this helps, and please return if you have any other questions. May the Force be with you!
