Hi there Daniel,
You have chosen a wonderful time to visit
The Happiest Place on Earth! First of all, the second week of December is a rather slow one, as the Thanksgiving crowds will have tapered off and the Christmas crowds will have not yet arrived. Secondly, and most importantly, the parks and hotels will be dressed to the nine with dazzling decorations and lights aglow. The characters will be there to greet you, dresses in their winter apparel, and there will even be parades themed especially for the season, special holiday fireworks, festive treats, and much more!
In the evenings, check out Sleeping Beauty's Winter Castle which will be draped with icicles of light...such a sight to see! You'll also want to hop aboard two beloved attractions, It's a Small World and Haunted Mansion as they will both be transformed with holiday layovers! Over at California Adventure, head down Route 66 until you happen upon Radiator Springs and Cars Land. All of the "residents" will be waiting for you and you'll get a kick out of the automotive-themed decorations and vintage lights!
Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort usually begins the second week of November, so everything will be in full swing by the time you arrive! Be sure to write back if I can answer any additional questions as your trip approaches!
Best Wishes,
Amanda F.
