Hi there, my family and I are planning our Disney vacation for this year in September ❤️❤️ My question is there going to be a mickeys not so scary Halloween this year?

Welcome Tina! A September visit sounds perfect! I love when the fall and Halloween decorations go up around the resorts and parks! The Mickey jack-o-lantern wreaths in Magic Kingdom Park always make me smile!

Like you, your friends at planDisney are waiting for an announcement regarding Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Last year's party was cancelled due to the need for physical distancing and reducing park capacity. However, Mickey and Minnie still found great ways to celebrate the season of happy haunts with some other festivities, costumes, decorations, special appearances, and seasonal food offerings! Keep checking the Walt Disney World Resort website and the Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date news and announcements!

Tina, while we await news of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, we do know that the whole gang is preparing for The World's Most Magical Celebration! This special 18-month long party will honor the 50th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort! The celebration officially launches on October 1, 2021, but Guests are already seeing many of the festive decorations around the parks! Cinderella Castle looks so amazing! Have a magical visit!
