Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Paul. We're so glad you stopped by! I love that your family is planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort to commemorate the 20th anniversary of your brother's Make-A-Wish trip. I can't think of a better way to celebrate!
The Walt Disney World Resort is committed to providing inclusive, accessible, and magical experiences for all Guests. Many services are available for Guests with disabilities, including the
Disability Access Service. Guests may now pre-register for the Disability Access Service as early as 30-days in advance! Pre-registration must be completed at least 2-days before your arrival, so the good news is, you still have time for this convenient option. To pre-register for the program virtually with a Cast Member via live video chat, visit the
Registering for Disability Access Service page on the Walt Disney World Resort website. Scroll down the page to review and accept the terms and conditions, and then click on the button that says, "Request Live Video Chat." It's important to note that your brother must be present during the video call since he'll be the Guest in your party requesting the Disability Access Service. During the live video chat, a Cast Member will help get your brother registered and assist your family in using the new DAS Advance planning option, which will allow your family to
book up to two one-hour return windows for select experiences ahead of your visit.
For additional information about Disability Access Service, I encourage you to call Disability Services at (407) 560-2547 or email disability.services@disneyparks.com. The Cast Members there are super friendly and very knowledgeable about all
Services for Guests with Disabilities.
I'm so excited that your celebration trip is perfectly timed with
The World's Most Magical Celebration. There's lots of new magic to discover in
and out of theme parks! All Guests are welcome to celebrate the small stuff, the big stuff, and the in-between stuff during this special, limited-time event. I'd say your brother's 20th Make-A-Wish anniversary is BIG stuff!
Be sure to stop by the Front Desk of your Disney Resorts Collection hotel or Guest Relations at any of the four theme parks to request a complimentary celebration button for your brother. With a celebration button, he'll receive well wishes from Cast Members and Guests alike!
I hope this was helpful, Paul. I'm wishing your family the most magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Ashley
