Hi, My family and I are planning on coming in early march to Disney land both parks. i have heard remurs about radiator racers being closed indefenitly and and wanting some conformation if the ride would be open.

    Hi there, Nathan!

I'm so glad you stopped by planDisney with your question! Radiator Springs Racers is my favorite attraction at Disneyland Resort, so I can understand why this might be at the top of your "must-ride" list.

According to the Hours & Events Calendar, Radiator Springs Racers will be closed for refurbishment starting on February 26, 2024. It's currently listed as being closed for only a few days, although that is subject to change. Sometimes Mater ventures off on an adventure, and it takes time to bring him back to Radiator Springs!

If Radiator Springs Racers is closed during your visit, there is still plenty to do in Cars Land! Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters is a jalopy of a good time, and Mater's Junkyard Jamboree always makes my kids squeal with laughter. There are also opportunities to meet some of the residents of Radiator Springs, such as Lightning McQueen and Mater, in front of the Cozy Cone Motel. Speaking of the Cozy Cone Motel, this is where I always grab some of the best snacks in Disneyland! When I was visiting Disney California Adventure Park a couple of weeks ago, they had both Chimichangas and Loaded Fried Tamales that would make even Chick Hicks do a happy dance!

Nathan, I will be shouting "ka-chow" if Radiator Springs Racers is open during your visit! Just check the Hours & Events Calendar when you arrive in the United States. Thanks again for stopping by planDisney!
