Bibbidi Bobbidi BOO, Nicole!
I am THRILLED and CHILLED to talk about my favorite time of year - SPOOKY season at Walt Disney World Resort. There's no better place for FRIGHTENING fun!
I'm so EERILY excited to hear you're planning a Walt Disney World vacation the week of Halloween. Halloween at Walt Disney World is a special and magical time when the parks transform with spooky decorations, themed events, and unique entertainment offerings. It won't be long until Disney celebrates "Halfway to Halloween" this spring, beginning the countdown to the Halloween season.
One of the most festive ways to celebrate Halloween at Walt Disney World is with a stay at The Campsites at Fort Wilderness Resort. Guests decorate their campsites with inflatables, lights, and more, and there are lots of SPOOKTACULAR special events to entertain guests of all ages. Some of last year's activities included a Pumpkin Decorating Contest, Glow Grinning Glow Pool Party, a Halloween Golf Cart Extravaganza, and a Halloween Beach Bash! On Halloween night, October 31st, the campground is home to Camp-Or-Treat, where guests can trick-or-treat at participating campsites. Most of these events require pre-registration and are exclusive to guests of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.
If you're planning to stay at
Disney's Wilderness Lodge, you're sure to find some special Halloween activities to enjoy on the 31st. Make sure to ask for an activities schedule when you check in!
For the most HAUNTINGLY happy celebration in all of Walt Disney World, you'll want to attend
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. It's always a must-BOO for my family! Ticketholders will be TREATed to several hours of exclusive park time on event evenings, with low wait times for popular attractions, live entertainment, treat trails, a Halloween-themed parade, fireworks, and more. It's quite the "swinging wake"! If you choose to attend, make sure to keep an eye (and ear) out for the Cadaver Dans, my favorite UNDEAD barbershop quartet.
The Grim Grinning Ghosts can't wait to see you this fall!
Your Ghost Host,
Diane W.
