My family and I are planning to attend Mickey's XMas Party on 12/21/12. Any tips or advice on where to watch from or be? What time should we arrive for this event?

    Hi Crystal!

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is my favorite special event at Walt Disney World!  If you are a first timer to this party, I definitely recommend watching the special fireworks show from anywhere on Main Street that has a good view of Cinderella's Castle.  It is just beautiful to see the sky lit up with a gorgeous castle in the forefront.  My new favorite spot to watch the fireworks is just in front of the entrance to the Enchanted Forest in new Fantasyland.  You pretty much get a 360 degree view of the fireworks.

It has been my experience that they let Christmas Party ticket holders in the gates starting at 4pm.  Of course, this isn't guaranteed, but you can certainly try.  The park will still be full with day guests, but you can enjoy the attractions before the party officially starts.

There are a few different types of cookies this year.  My favorite are the snickerdoodles!

    Have a magical day!
