    My family has a planned trip to WDW in September 2016 and the free dining plan. My question is when making the reservations how do I indicate that I have the free dining plan? Thank you.

    Hooray on getting Free Dining for your vacation! What a great savings for your family. Plus, you get dessert with every lunch and dinner. Now that's what I call magical!

    You will book your Dining Reservations the same way with or without having the Dining Plan. Just choose your location, time, and remember that you will need a credit card to hold the reservation. When you arrive for your dining reservation, let your server know that you are on the Disney Dining Plan so they can explain exactly what you get with your credit. When it is time to pay, your server will scan your MagicBand, and the cost of your meals will be deducted from your bill. You will still need to pay for any extras, such as specialty beverages or appetizers, and also gratuity is not included with the Disney Dining Plan.

    Make sure you check your bill at the very end of your meal. You will see that your remaining credits are listed, which makes being on the plan super easy.
