My family has planned a trip to Disney the week of Thanksgiving 08. We are currently planning on staying at the Car. Beach Res. We will have a 6 month old and 5 year old. Is the resort too big for a 6 month old? I am concerned about size.Should we upgrade?

The Caribbean Beach Resort is a very large resort. However instead of switching to another resort, you could consider reserving a premium room which would provide accommodations closer to the food court, theme pool and store.

Your five  year old will probably enjoy the pool (which will be newly refurbished with a pirate theme as it re-opens in September), the sandy beaches with playgrounds and kid meals that are served in lunch pails.

We stayed in the Jamaica section which was quite a walk to the food court but our child was older at the time. I probably would not have enjoyed having to push a stroller from our room to the food court or pool after a long day in the parks.

Try a premium room which will cost a little more. Or to stay at the same price range, look at the Port Orleans French Quarter. This small, quaint resort is charming and very convenient for guests with infants.

    Magical wishes to you!
