Me and my family have planned a trip to Disney on June 10-15. Do we have to show a vaccination card to get in the parks?

Hi there, Catherine! Thank you so much for stopping by to see us here at planDisney!

Your family must be getting really excited now that your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is so close. Just a couple more weeks and you'll be at the Most Magical Place on Earth!

I know that a big part of our vacation plans these days is all about preparing for health and safety precautions. As a Guest myself, I've appreciated the measures Disney has taken to keep us all as safe as possible. At the moment, Guests are not required to present proof of vaccination to enter any of the Walt Disney World theme parks, Resort hotels, water parks, or Disney Springs. However, many safety protocols are still in place, such as requiring Guests to wear face coverings indoors and when aboard all rides and attractions. You'll find a complete rundown of current safety measures on the "Know Before You Go" page on the Walt Disney World website. It's a good idea to check back a couple of times before your vacation, as any changes will be posted there.

Catherine, while you're putting the finishing touches on your plans, be sure to check out our planDisney Panel Extras page! It's chock-full of our favorite tips and advice on everything from what to pack to some of our must-order meals and snacks when we're visiting Walt Disney World. It's like having a panelist as your personal guide!

I hope this helps you plan a magical Walt Disney World vacation for your family, Catherine. Please come see us again if you have any more questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
