    1) My Family and I planned on going to Disney World on Sunday Oct. 3 will they show fireworks that night? And is so at what time? 2) If we have the standard day pass to Disney world can we leave the park and return to the same park that same day?

    Hi Jason,

The Magic Kingdom closes at 7:00 PM on Sunday, October 3 for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.  The party is a separately ticketed event.  Click HERE for more information or to buy tickets to the party.  There will be fireworks that evening; unfortunately, as a regular guest, you won't be inside the park when they are set off (around 9:00 PM).  You can, however, catch them from outside of the park gates or at a nearby resort.  I recommend making dinner reservations at a restaurant in the Polynesian, Contemporary or Grand Floridian and then watching the fireworks from an observation deck or from one of the beaches.

As far as leaving the park and returning on the same day - you absolutely can do that!

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
