My family is planing our 1st trip to WDW for the last week in April. I was wondering how the groud transportaion from the airport works & since we are arriving before check in & after Check out what happens with our baggage.

Hi Trish - Those who are staying at a Disney-owned property and are flying in to Orlando International Airport are eligible to use Disney's complimentary Magical Express Service.  The service brings you to and from the airport, and will also take your checked bags directly to your resort.  Visit the Magical Express page on the Disney website for more information.

When you arrive at your resort via the Magical Express, you can try to check in, even if it's before check-in time.  If your room is ready, you'll have access to it right away.  If not, you can leave a cell phone number to receive a text message when your room is ready.  If your room is not ready, your bags will be kept until it is ready.

When you check out, you can have carry-on baggage held with bell services, and you can use the airline check-in desk for your checked baggage.  It'll be brought directly to the airport, and you won't see it again until your final destination.

I hope that helps!  Have a great vacation!
