Me and my family plan on travelling to Disney World in October, and the only real thing we are still hung up on is dining. I was looking to clear the air about whats in the parks, whats not, whats best for families, and whats best overall!

    Hello there, Dylan!

October is such a wonderful time of year to visit the Walt Disney World Resort, especially when the grim-grinning ghosts come out to socialize. Hopefully, by the end of this answer, you will no longer be afraid of what dining options to pick at the Walt Disney World Resort. You can start making dining reservations once you are 60 days out from your trip.

To see what dining options are in the theme parks, go to the Dining page and select “All Walt Disney World Locations.” When the pop-up window opens, select Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, followed by “Done” at the bottom of the page. To view all options, select “All Filters” and remove the check mark next to “Reservations Accepted.” Now, you should see all of the dining options available at the four theme parks.

Now, your next questions are tricky to answer in a short response, but my personal favorite restaurant for families is Cinderella’s Royal Table in Magic Kingdom Park for breakfast. This is a unique opportunity to dine inside Cinderella Castle and meet some of your favorite princesses. As for my favorite restaurant overall, my recommendation is Narcoossee’s in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa if you like coastal cuisine.

Let me know if you’d like me to list my favorite dining options at each of the four theme parks, but I must admit, some of my favorite dining options are outside of the theme parks in the Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs. You are welcome to make dining reservations at the Disney Resort hotels even if you aren’t a Guest.

May the magic be with you!
