Hi my family and I plan on traveling to wdw sept 23-30 I was wondering how's the weather during that time and has the Mickey not so scary Halloween party started already during that time?

    Hello Natasha,

You have chosen a great time to travel to Walt Disney World Resort. You should find that the crowds are considerably lower since many schools will be back in session at that time. The weather will still be quite warm with average temperatures ranging from highs in the low 90s to lows in the mid 70s. September can still be considered part of the rainy season, but the rain showers typically occur in the afternoons. The magic won't stop with the rain and I actually enjoy touring the parks when it is raining a little since often the lines to attractions become shorter as some guests leave. So, pack a rain jacket or poncho and don't let the rain deter you from having just as much fun.

While dates for MIckey's Not So Scary Halloween Party have not been officially announced, historically it has begun having party dates in mid-September. Be sure to keep an eye on the party event page that I just linked or the Disney Parks Blog as that will be where the official dates will be announced in late spring/early summer.

Have a magical trip and feel free to stop by with more questions as your planning continues.
