Hiya, Ryotaro!
I'm so glad you've brought your question to planDisney. If you ask me, April is the perfect time to escape the cold, wet weather of a northern springtime and head to Walt Disney World Resort. If you're heading to EPCOT during your visit, be sure to plan some
extra time to enjoy all the details of the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. With beautiful floral displays, tasty Outdoor Kitchens, and the world-class performances of the
Garden Rocks Concert Series, it's an event you won't want to miss!
While there are so many benefits to staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, one of my favorite perks is the extra time Guests of these hotels get to spend in Walt Disney World theme parks. As part of
The World's Most Magical Celebration, Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel can take advantage of
Early Theme Park Entry, which allows you to enter all four theme parks 30 minutes before they open to the general public each day. For my family, this is the perfect way to enjoy some of the most popular attractions, like
Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway, with a much shorter wait. And here's the best part –– no matter how you get your tickets, you'll be able to enjoy this extra time as long as you're staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel. That means that you're welcome to purchase tickets through your employer for access to this benefit during your vacation.
If you happen to be staying at a
Deluxe Resort hotel during your visit, you'll have
even more theme park fun in store for you. That's because, in addition to Early Theme Park Entry, Deluxe Resort Guests can also take advantage of
Extended Evening Hours at Walt Disney World theme parks. These lucky Guests can enjoy an extra two hours in select parks after they close for the evening –– talk about a perfect end to your Disney day, right?! Just note that unlike the early-hours access, this benefit is only available for select parks on specific nights. Be sure to check
Park Hours on the Walt Disney World website to see which nights are available during your stay.
Thanks for visiting planDisney, Ryotaro! If you think of more planning questions before you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort, I hope you'll stop by again –– we're always happy to help!
Wishing You a Magical Day,
Amy
