My family & I plan to stay at Beach Club this October, but I haven't seen any updates about available transportation to/from Hollywood Studios. Are the boats running? Or, better yet, is the walking trail behind BoardWalk open? Thanks in advance!

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Susan!

Oh, wow, you have two fantastic bonuses in your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World: a great time of year and a stay at one of my favorite resorts!

One of the many benefits of calling the beautiful Disney's Beach Club Resort home for your vacation is location. In addition to the stunning architecture, jaw-dropping pool area, and so many fabulous dining choices, the ease of getting to and from so many fun destinations can't be beat. When my family stays there, we prefer to use the lovely waterside walking path that links Disney's BoardWalk to Disney's Hollywood Studios. The path is open, and it is a relatively flat, easy walk between the two, so your family may enjoy the flexibility that path offers while you are touring, too.

At the time of your October stay, most of the Walt Disney World Water Transportation should be up and running, including the Friendship Boats that connect BoardWalk area resorts to EPCOT's International Gateway and Disney's Hollywood Studios. However, you may want to try out the super-smooth Disney Skyliner which also connects EPCOT's International Gateway to Disney's Hollywood Studios. That experience alone is a fun one, so you may find yourself riding it again and again just for kicks!

As you plan the perfectly pixie-dusted visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, Susan, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
