Hi. My family and I plan on purchasing Florida resident gold annual passes online . Does our year start the day we purchase online or the day we actually go to the ticket counter and get the tickets?

    Hi Laura!

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love being a Walt Disney World Passholder. Not only do I save money by using my Annual Pass to enter the theme parks regularly, but the discounts on merchandise, dining, and entertainment also help me save big!

When you purchase your Annual Pass online, you'll be given a certificate. Bring a printed copy of your certificate along with a photo ID to any Walt Disney World theme park ticket window for redemption. You will also need to bring proof of Florida residency. Your year starts when you redeem your Annual Pass and use it, not on the day you purchase it necessarily.

I hope you have many magical memories being a Passholder. I certainly have with mine! Please come back and see us real soon if you have any other questions.
