Ana, I want to be honest with you. Planning for a Magic Kingdom park day on the same day you’ll be attending this spectacular event might be a lot for most guests, especially those attending with children. Guests with party tickets can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 p.m. Considering that the event ends at midnight, you’ll be in Magic Kingdom for 8 hours for the party alone. That's a pretty long time, even for a die-hard Magic Kingdom fan like myself! If you’re going to do it, I would suggest taking a midday resort break. Enter Magic Kingdom in the morning, spend some time enjoying attractions (party days are often less crowded because guests usually attend other parks knowing they would need to leave Magic Kingdom early), then head back to your
Disney Resort Hotel. Enjoy some time at the pool or take what I like to call a “disco nap.” A "disco nap" is the kind of nap you take during the day to prepare your body for being out at night! Grab an early dinner while you’re at your resort, then head to the party. This strategy will give you and your family the stamina you need to get through the long day. Now, you can enjoy all the party-specific offerings like special holiday character meet & greets and entertainment without feeling like you’re missing out on attractions since you experienced them earlier in the day.
