Hi there... we are a family of 6 persons and we would like to enjoy a disney cruise that goes to your private island and the Caribbean islands. we would like to know if you have a saving plan for this trip. thanks for all the info that you can provide me.

    Ahoy, there, Francy!

Thanks for sailing into planDisney with your question - I'm happy to help!

There's nothing better than making plans for a Disney Cruise Line vacation. With a fleet of four amazing ships with awesome port destinations (and one more joining the fleet next summer!), there's a perfect itinerary for every travel party.

As an avid "travel budgeter", I always like to know if a payment plan is available for our family vacations. I like to know ahead of time what our travel costs will be, and make payments along the way! That way, once it's time to begin our vacation, we can truly relax knowing it's paid in full. Disney Cruise Line doesn't offer any kind of official payment plan for their sailings, but it's easy to set up your own payment schedule once you've paid the initial deposit. Once your cruise is booked and your deposit has been paid, you'll receive a confirmation email with information regarding when your cruise needs to be paid in full. Guests can make payments using the online portal on the Disney Cruise Line website, or by calling DCL at (800) 951-3532.

Booking a cruise for a large family can be a challenge, as typical Disney Cruise Line staterooms sleep 3-4 Guests, and some can accommodate 5. For a family of six, the most economical way to cruise would probably be to book two connecting staterooms. The door that connects the two cabins can be propped open to create a two-bedroom arrangement for your family, providing plenty of room for everyone! The Disney Magic and Disney Wonder have 137 connecting staterooms, while the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy feature over 500. Disney Cruise Line's newest ship, the Disney Wish, will have 451 connecting staterooms to accommodate larger families.

I'm excited to hEAR you'd like to book a cruise that visits Disney Cruise Line's gorgeous private island, Castaway Cay. To search for specific cruise itineraries that stop at Castaway Cay, simply follow the "View Prices" link in the blue highlighted box on the Castaway Cay page

I hope this helps get you started with your planning, and that you'll soon be setting sail with Captain Mickey and his crew!
