    my family has 15 people travelling in february. 6 are children ranging from 3years to 17. Are there any character meals that you would suggest or shows such as the BBQ or Hoop Dee Do Revue?

    Hi Dawn!

    I've never been to Mickey's Backyard BBQ but I HIGHLY recommend the Hoop Dee Doo Music Revue at Fort Wilderness. This dinner show is original, funny, and very entertaining for the entire family! I recently went with my wife, daughter (7) and son (3 1/2). All of us were laughing, including both my children :-) :-)

    The music is good, the skits are great, and the food is fantastic (short ribs, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, etc.) The only thing was our son is a picky eater, and will only eat french fries occasionally. Hoop Dee Doo doesn't serve fries, but we just walked over to the Trail's End restaurant during intermission and ordered a box of french fries for him as take-out, and brought it back to the dinner show.

    But the show is very, very entertaining!

    Recommended character meals are Chef Mickey's at Contemporary, Ohana Breakfast at Polynesian, or Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom.
