Our family is part-time Florida residents. Our children who are over the age of 18 (local college) are still living at home. Can I get them FL resident annual passes too?

    Hi Tanya,

My parents are also part-time Florida residents, who like to spend six months of the year living close to the Mouse. Eventually I hope to join them. With great year-round weather, and close proximity to Walt Disney World Resort, Florida is definitely hard to beat!

In order to qualify for a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Pass for Florida residents, your adult children must be able to present proof of a Florida residential address. Acceptable forms of proof include either (1) a valid Florida driver's license or state-issued Florida Identification card with a Florida address, or, (2) a current bill, financial or government documentation addressed to them at a valid Florida residential address within the preceding two months, along with government photo identification.

Therefore, even if your children do not have a Florida driver's license or state identification card with a Florida address, provided they have bank statements, utility or telephone bills, or some form of official government correspondence addressed to their attention at a Florida residential address, along with a piece of photo identification, they should be fine to purchase a Florida resident Annual Pass.

If your children qualify to purchase a Florida resident Annual Pass, one of the exclusive benefits for Florida residents is the ability to pay for an Annual Pass on a monthly payment program, spreading the cost of the Pass into 12 monthly payments. Especially for a budget-conscious college students, this is a great option!

Tanya, I hope this information is helpful. Should you have any other questions, please let us know. We are here to help!
