Hello, my family and I each have a park voucher from "Give a day, Get a Disney day" that we will be using in July. My question is can we redeem them for park tickets at our resort to avoid waiting in line at the will call window at the park?

Hi, Dave! My family and I recently redeemed our "Give a Day, Get a Day" (GAD/GAD) vouchers at the Magic Kingdom. We were staying at a Disney resort and rode the bus there. We went through bag check and straight to Guest Relations with no wait and no problems. We were told that Guest Relations at each park were the only places where the vouchers could be redeemed. Make sure that you bring a photo ID for the adults and a copy of each of the children's birth certificates, too. You also may want to ask for your "Honorary VoluntEAR" button if it's not offered to you.

Also, as a little "insider" information, we upgraded one of our son's ticket (which was a GAD/GAD ticket) at the end of the day to an annual pass. As a general policy, WDW usually discounts an Annual Pass by the cost of the one-day ticket...so it was like we purchased his AP at a discount. Sweet! Then, for the rest of the trip, we were able to receive various discounts on food, merchandise and some entertainment because of his AP. My favorite AP discount is 50% off of mini-golf! Maybe you'll find this as helpful as we did. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
