Liz from WA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

My family got park hopper passes. One of us made reservations for us to start in Disney California & end the day at Disneyland, but later realized it would be better for us to do the reverse. Is there a way for us to change our reservations?

Hey there, Liz! Thank you for bringing your question to planDisney! It's great to hear that you have purchased Park Hopper tickets for your family. It is my favorite way to enjoy the parks since they are just a hop, skip and a jump away from each other!

I would be happy to help walk you through the steps to get your park reservations changed to reflect the starting park that you wish if there is availability. Before you log in, I recommend checking the Theme Park Reservation Calendar to make sure there is availability to start your day off at Disneyland Park. If you find that there is availability for Disneyland Park, you will need to cancel your current reservation and book a new one.

Start off by logging in to your Disneyland Account. Find the "My Disneyland" tab and hover over that until it brings you a drop-down list. You will want to select "Tickets and Reservations Details". From there you will want to scroll down and select "View My Park Reservations" and then click "Cancel Reservations".  Now you will be able to select your new Theme Park Reservations to start off with the park you wish. I suggest doing so right away so you can make sure you secure the correct park before availability goes away. After you have made your new selections, a confirmation email should be sent with your new reservations.

Thank you so much for letting me help you, Liz. Please come back to see us again with any other questions you may have. I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort!

While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
