My family of 4 and my parents are going to WDW. When using the Dining Plan to pay for our meal, as a party of 6, but on 2 separate Dining Plans, will the restaurant still add the gratuity? Thanks!

Hi Missy,

Yes, an 18% gratuity will be added to parties of 6 or more regardless of how many dining plans or separate bills are being used. It really depends on the size of the table being booked and not how it is being paid for or split up. The only way around the automatically applied gratuity in your situation would be to have 2 separate tables for your party but I am sure that is not what you are interested in doing. Look at it this way.....most guests will tip anyways based on good service, so enjoy your meals together and just have a great vacation is my advice to you!
