Hi Katherine,
Welcome to planDisney! Pretty soon you'll be enjoying one of my family's favorite
Disney Resorts Collection hotels,
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa. This expansive Disney Resort hotel is home to Victorian charm, two feature pools and, my husband's favorite,
Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course. My family was blown away by the recent room renovations during our November visit. You're in for a treat, and I'm not just talking about Mickey's Premium Ice Cream Bars!
Katherine, most people don't realize
Walt Disney World Resort spans over 40 square miles. Getting from point A to point B without a magic wand takes thoughtful planning and I'm happy to talk through some transportation options for your upcoming visit. The fastest way to get to
Disney's Pop Century Resort from Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa is by car, which takes approximately 10 minutes. Since parking at Disney Resort hotels is officially limited to Guests staying at each resort, this option requires that your family register your car under their Pop Century Resort reservation. This step, completed at the front desk during check-in, will grant you access to Disney's Pop Century Resort parking lot. The Cast Member I spoke with assured me this will not conflict with your ability to park at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa. Just to be safe, I'd have a copy of your family's reservation number on hand when pulling in the parking gate at Disney's Pop Century Resort.
Using
complimentary Disney transportation, the quickest way to get from Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa to Disney's Pop Century Resort is by walking or taking the boat to
Disney Springs, and then taking a bus to Disney's Pop Century Resort. I would allow 60 minutes of travel time for both options.
Parking at other Disney Resort hotels is allowed with proof of a dining reservation. For example, my family recently enjoyed dinner at
'Ohana at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and my husband was asked to scan his MagicBand to obtain entry to the parking lot. You may also access other Disney Resort hotels directly from the
theme parks or Disney Springs. Transportation options include
monorail,
bus,
Disney Skyliner,
water transportation and even walking.
However you choose to get around The Walt Disney World Resort, I hope you and your family thoroughly enjoy your magical destinations.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
