Ahoy there! I’m delighted you cruised by with your question. Welcome to planDisney!
Disney Cruise Line has been bringing families together for the past 25 years! You'll find something for each family member to enjoy, no matter their age. From personalized service, outstanding entertainment, and beautiful ports of call, there is something magical about sailing with your favorite people.
Most
standard staterooms sleep three to four guests. Staterooms that sleep four have a queen bed, a single sleeper sofa, and an upper berth pull-down bed. My son loves the pull-down bed and sleeping under the “night” sky. Don’t worry, your grandchildren will be safe. The upper bed has a ladder and bedrail. Some staterooms sleep five guests. These rooms have a wall pull-down bed hidden away in what looks like a cabinet. The prices vary depending on the stateroom category you select and its location.
For a party your size, I think you’ll need at least seven standard staterooms or a mix of staterooms, with at least one that sleeps five. Working with an experienced travel planner is sometimes easier for a large group. I recommend
calling Disney Cruise Line and speaking with a friendly vacation specialist. They will be able to help your family secure staterooms near each other and link your reservations for dinner so you are all seated together.
I hope this information helps you plan your dream vacation with your family. This summer, I sailed with my extended family. It was so nice for the cousins to play together and the grownups to reconnect. Please sail back to us if you have any additional questions before the big day arrives. My friends and I are delighted to help!
SEAS the adventure!
