My family has oogie boogie bash tickets for October 19th. We had one more person we were wanting to add but the event is sold out for that night, is there anything we could do?

Greetings, Raven-sky, and welcome to planDisney! I love that your family will be celebrating the spooky season at the Oogie Boogie Bash in California Adventure. Between the treat trails, rare Character appearances, special entertainment, and creative costumes, there will be so much for you to discover.

Raven-sky, as you've seen, Oogie Boogie party dates do sell out, including October 19, 2025. You can keep checking the website to see if that date becomes available, but it's unlikely. The number of tickets available for each event date is limited. Moreover, they are nonrefundable and not available on the day of the event.

Be aware of third-party resellers and online marketplaces. Oogie Boogie Bash tickets can’t be resold or transferred for commercial purposes, and buying from an unofficial source could lead to a ticket being canceled and entry denied. If someone wants to gift you a ticket, that would be ok, as long as it's not resold.

Even without a party ticket, there’s still plenty of Halloween fun to discover at the Disneyland Resort. Festive decorations, fun attraction overlays, specialty snacks, and seasonal merchandise are just some of the things you can expect during Halloween Time. With your Oogie Boogie Bash tickets, you'll be able to enter California Adventure as early as 3 p.m. But if you also have theme park tickets, you can spend the whole day at the park. Perhaps the person in your party who doesn't have an event ticket can purchase a standard theme park ticket and enjoy the day with you until the event starts? Afterwards, they can explore the Downtown Disney District or relax at the hotel. They could even go have some fun inside Disneyland Park if they have a Park Hopper ticket. I realize these aren't ideal solutions, but they are options!

Another idea is to book a Character Dining experience with your whole party, especially since some locations offer seasonal variations for Halloween Time. Check out Clarabelle’s Enchanted Halloween Dinner at Storytellers Cafe or Halloween fun at Goofy's Kitchen.

Raven-sky,  I wish I had better news for you. I'll wish upon a star that you can find a solution that works for you and the others in your party. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're always happy to help here at planDisney.
