Greetings, Minette, and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I hope you and your family are getting excited for your upcoming Disneyland Resort vacation! I'm also a mom of three, ages 2, 5, and 7, so I can relate to your issue with riding certain attractions as a family. I’m happy to report that yes, the Disneyland Resort offers a
Rider Switch service to help families with youngsters. Here’s how it works: One adult or supervising Guest (14 years or older) can wait with non-riders while the rest of the party enjoys the attractions. Afterward, they’ll switch roles to allow the supervising Guest the chance to experience the attraction without waiting in the regular queue again. Check out
this filtered list of attractions offering the Rider Switch service.
There are also plenty of attractions the whole family can experience together, such as Toy Story Midway Mania!, "it's a small world", Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion,
and many more!
Another helpful tip I like to pass along to families with multiple children is to take advantage of the
Baby Care Centers offered at both theme parks. Baby Care Centers are not only a great spot to change, nurse, or feed a baby, but they’re also ideal for potty-training a toddler, or simply taking a break.
I hope this helps. Please stop by with any more questions… I’m all EARS!
See ya’ real soon!
