Ahoy there Deanna, and welcome to planDisney! I am happy to help you with your question as you plan your family vacation.
There must be a Guest age 21 years or older on the reservation if a Guest under the age of 18 is also in the stateroom. Some families will book one parent in each room, but where you decide to sleep is up to you and your family!
There are a limited number of
connecting staterooms on each ship, so I suggest you book your Disney Cruise Line vacation as soon as possible. If your family decides to stay in one stateroom, you can book an
Oceanview stateroom with a Verandah or a Concierge stateroom since you have 5 members in your pirate crew. One thing I love about Disney Cruise Line is the
flexible payment plan. You can place a hold on a cruise for up to 3 days and then put a deposit with as little as 20% down. At that point, you are free to make payments when you want, for however much you want, until the final payment due date. There are also some
special offers that you could be eligible for as well.
Whichever route you decide, all waterways lead to a magical vacation onboard Disney Cruise Line. If you have any other questions, Deanna, sail back to
planDisney. My pals and I will be happy to help.
Happy Planning!
