    My family and I do not receive MagicBands at our resort. I am concerned about getting pictures. Do I need to buy them? or will having the cards be fine for us?

    Glad you stopped by today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Let me try to help you with your concern.

    All Guests staying at a Disney Resort Hotel receive a complimentary MagicBand; one of the many Disney Resort Hotel Guest Benefits. You can customize them and may get it shipped to your home too. You can also pick it up at the Front Desk when you Check-In.

    MagicBands can capture automatically most attraction photos and videos. If you do not have one or wear one, you can tap your Theme Park Ticket or PhotoPass card at the touchpoints at the end of the attraction, to link them to your account.

    One last tip: to bring back home all those memories, you can purchase individual pictures, or simply get Memory Maker, which will give you access to all the photos and videos captured by the Disney PhotoPass Service photographers during your entire stay, including those at select attractions. Be sure to purchase it at least three days before your Check-In in order to save some Disney Dollars. Happy planning!
