Hi there, Heidi! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I just purchased my tickets to
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and I can tell you that you certainly don't need to have hotel accommodations booked or other theme park tickets purchased in order to buy your tickets to the Halloween party.
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets are available to purchase online and when you check out, you have the option of receiving your ticket voucher by email or receiving physical tickets in the mail. No matter which delivery option you choose, you can easily link the tickets to your My Disney Experience account. Then if you later decide to book a vacation package at a Walt Disney World Resort, you can use your MagicBands to gain entry into the party. I would still plan to bring your party tickets or ticket vouchers with you just in case, however.
As you prepare for the party, make sure you are aware of the
costume guidelines for adults and children. You are certainly welcome to flex your creative muscles when it comes to putting together a fabulous costume, but just make sure you adhere to the rules.
I hope this helps! Have a spooktacular time at the Walt Disney World Resort this fall!
