We are a family of 7 and not familiar with Disneyland . Planning to go in December want to plan it best where we can have most fun planning on staying at Disneyland hotel 2 night and two day tickets. Any suggestions on how to approach ?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Rosanna. I'm so glad to hear you'll be heading to the Happiest Place on Earth for the first time in December.

It's a wonderful time to visit the Disneyland Resort. By then, Holiday decorations will be up and there are usually wonderful seasonal treats and merchandise during that time. A great place to start planning your trip is to check out the Pre-Arrival Tips on the Disneyland website.

It's a great way for you and your family to fully experience a Disney vacation by staying onsite. One of the many perks of staying at a Disneyland Resort hotel is being able to enter the park an hour early during Extra Magic Hour before it opens to the general public. Registered Disneyland Resort Hotel Guests with valid park tickets can enjoy Disney California Adventure Park a full hour early on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and Disneyland Park on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. My family use this extra hour to take advantage of popular rides such as Radiator Springs Racers, Toy Story Mania, Hyperspace Mountain, Peter Pan's Flight, and Matterhorn Bobsleds.

A fun, memorable way to celebrate a Disney vacation is a Character Dining experience. I enjoy starting our family's day at Disneyland Park with "Minnie & Friends - Breakfast in the Park" at the Plaza Inn. Don't forget to stop by for your complimentary "First Visit" button, which you can pick up at Guest Relations at either park once you've arrived.

I hope this information is helpful to get you started on planning your unforgettable trip, Rosanna. Please visit us on the Panel again if you have further questions.

    Have a magical day,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
