    My family and I could not be more excited for our first visit to WDW! We plan to get tickets for Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween Party on October 19, which will also be our last evening at the resort. What are the dining options at MK for the evening?

    I am so excited for you! A first trip to Disney World is always amazing and it sounds like you are planning some great adventures! Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) is my favorite special event at the Magic Kingdom!

    Only a limited number of quick service locations are open during MNSSHP. The list of attractions, quick service locations, and entertainment schedule for the 2014 MNSSHP event evenings has not been released yet. Here is a list of the dining locations that were open during the 2013 MNSSHP evenings:

    Main Street USA
    * Sweet Treats on Main Street
    * Casey's Corner

    Adventureland
    * Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe
    * Westward Ho
    * Frontierland Turkey Leg Cart
    * Frontierland Churro Cart

    Liberty Square
    * Sleepy Hollow

    Fantasyland
    * Storybook Treats
    * Gaston's Tavern

    Tomorrowland
    * Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe
    * The Lunching Pad

    I have to eat during MNSSHP so we usually eat dinner at Cosmic Ray's or Pecos Bill's. If none of those options appeal to you, I would plan to eat before MNSSHP begins at 7 p.m.

    MNSSHP requires a special event ticket to attend. If you have not already purchased your MNSSHP tickets, I would recommend that you do that right away. Many of the event evenings sell out quickly and I don't want you to miss your opportunity to attend this spooktacular event.
