My family was not able to get rooms at Disney in our price range. We are renting an AirBnB. On the last day we have to be out of our house by 10:00 AM but our flight isn't until much later. Is there a place at Disney for the luggage?

Hi Suzanne! I'm so excited to hear that your family is planning to visit the Happiest Place on Earth. You're in for an unforgettable adventure! But let's fast forward to the last day of your visit, shall we? By then, I hope your camera roll will be full of magical moments, the rumbly in your tumbly will be satisfied thanks to many tasty snacks, and you'll have special memories to last a lifetime. It sounds like you plan to check out of your accommodations and then head to the Disneyland Resort for one more day of fun before heading home. So let's talk about what to do with your luggage.

Since you're not staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, renting a locker is the best option for storing luggage on-site. There are oversized lockers near the Disneyland Park Main Entrance (in the picnic area). The Jumbo-sized lockers measure 18" wide, 25" high, and 37" deep, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. You may want to arrive earlier in the day when the chance of finding a space is higher. Keep in mind that the Disneyland Resort Rules state that suitcases or bags larger than 15" wide, 18" high, and 24" long are not allowed, so measure your suitcases in advance to make sure they fall within these dimensions. Another important note: you'll be required to go through the security screening with your luggage to access the lockers, so make sure you aren't bringing through any prohibited items.

Suzanne, have you looked into the Good Neighbor Hotels? These Disney-approved hotels are close to the Disneyland Resort. There are more than 30 of them, each with their own set of amenities and room features. I mention this as another option for you to consider. Perhaps you can contact a few directly to see if a luggage check service is offered.

There are so many exciting things coming to the Disneyland Resort this year. I'm really looking forward to the 70th Anniversary Celebration that begins in May. As part of the fun, the Paint the Night Parade will make its much-anticipated return. It is one of my favorite nighttime spectaculars, so you can bet I'll be there to see it for the first time in forever! Check out the Disney Parks Blog to get the inside scoop on other festive events and entertainment.

Suzanne, I hope this information is helpful as you finalize your vacation plans. Here's to making memories that shine as bright as the fireworks over Sleeping Beauty Castle.

    See ya real soon!
