Hello Donna!
Welcome to
planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question. I'd be happy to help with some details regarding
Lightning Lane passes. Guests will start using the new system in just a couple of weeks, so stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog and
our Instagram account for updates and tips on using the latest features.
Because you are staying offsite during your November trip, regardless of ticket type, you can purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass for your entire party beginning at 7 AM, three days before each theme park visit. Be sure to make
theme park reservations for any days you plan to use a non-date-based admission. I have an
Annual Pass requiring theme park reservations, but my husband and children do not; we can still secure Lightning Lane Passes as a group for our upcoming August vacation since we will share the same
onsite accommodations.
Regarding your
tickets, if you want to modify them but don't see the option on the
My Disney Experience mobile app in the "Tickets and Passes" section to "Change Ticket" below each ticket's barcode, you'll need to
call Disney, visit a theme park ticketing window, or stop by Guest Relations to see if modifications are possible. Because I have multiple tickets linked to my profile in My Disney Experience, I typically go to one of these locations upon arrival anyway to confirm with a Cast Member that my tickets are prioritized correctly. That is to say, I'm set to redeem my preferred admission each day.
I hope this has been helpful, Donna. Please write back if there's anything else we can do to clarify ticketing rules and situations. Best wishes for a memorable November adventure, and we can't wait to welcome you "home" soon. Thanks again for visiting planDisney, and have a magical day!
