Welcome to planDisney, Jennifer!
I can tell we have a lot in common. Not only do we share the same name, but we also share tremendous pride for our country and the brave men and women that work to preserve our freedoms each and every day. To you or the friend or family member that qualifies you for a stay at
Shades of Green, the resort for military members located on Walt Disney World Resort property, thank you for your service.
As an honored Shades of Green on Walt Disney World Guest, I'm pleased to report you can make advance reservations for dining
online 60 days before arrival for your entire stay (up to 10 days). To take advantage of this magical perk, just make sure your resort reservation is
linked to your My Disney Experience account. On your Disney dining day, I recommend being logged into your
My Disney Experience account by 5:45 a.m. with a tab for each of your must-do restaurants open. A new day of reservations typically goes live by 6:00 a.m.
If you're interested in a character dining experience, I recommend planning it for later in your stay to maximize reservation availability. Stitch returns to
'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort for breakfast beginning September 27, which is about a 10-minute walk from Shades of Green. This is a must-do for my family's November visit and I managed to snag a reservation for the last day of our vacation.
Shades of Green Guests can also take advantage of
Early Theme Park Entry and
Extended Evening Hours at the theme parks. In my experience, the early birds and night owls get the shortest wait times.
I know your family will enjoy the spacious rooms, picturesque grounds, and ideal location of Shades of Green as much as I did on a recent stay. Please return to planDisney with any other trip-planning questions.
With gratitude,
Jennifer
