Hi there, Aimee!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited (and a tad bit envious!) of your upcoming cruise itinerary! A “double dip itinerary” at Castaway Cay is definitely on my bucket list of cruises – I could ALWAYS spend more time at
Castaway Cay and two days will give you plenty of opportunity to enjoy everything that the island has to offer!
I checked with my pals at Disney Cruise Line and while it has not been confirmed yet, there should be a
Palo Brunch offered on the day that you visit Nassau. As your sailing approaches, more information will become available and you can either come back here to ask or check the onboard activity options once your activities window opens. If the brunch does not fit into your personal itinerary, I do recommend trying to grab a dinner reservation. I definitely enjoy the brunch offerings, but think I enjoy the dinner even more! We try to get a later reservation and take our boys to the main dining room for their dinner before dropping them off at the Oceaneer Club and heading off for date night – complete with the chocolate souffle for dessert!
Did you know that Port Adventures offers a variety of
excursions and activities that you can do at Castaway Cay? We always rent bicycles to explore the island, but now that both my boys are old enough they have been asking to do the stingray adventure, so we may just have to do that the next time we visit Castaway Cay!
As your planning continues, please come back with any additional questions you may have!
