Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Brian!

You are as welcome as can be here at planDisney!  How exciting that you are thinking of planning a Walt Disney World vacation for your large family. As a member of Disney Vacation Club for the last 22 years, I can say that enjoying a large family gathering or a multigenerational family vacation can be quite a wonderful way to enjoy the magic of Disney and special time making memories with loved ones.

Brian, the first thing you might want to look at are the Disney Vacation Club Villas.  These are specific to the Disney Vacation Club Resorts, and while they are considered Deluxe Resorts, you can price out - and size out - the two and three-bedroom Villas which typically can fit families of 9 in the two-bedroom and 12 in the three-bedroom. Disney's Old Key West is our family's favorite for one of these Villas as they tend to be a bit more spacious.  Where they can save money is that you are booking one Villa instead of multiple rooms for your vacation, they come with full-sized kitchens and often on-site grills, which can save you money on dining and food costs. But my favorite features is the in-room washer and dryers so you can pack less and save money on baggage fees if you plan to fly.   Additionally, Disney Resort Hotels can be as much fun as your time in the parks, with plenty of exciting activities and unique theming if each of the Resorts, onsite transportation, and early theme park entry to maximize the magic of your vacation.

Now, if staying in a Villa is outside your budget, check out the Value Resorts.  These are a great value to immerse yourself in Disney magic but with a bit more pixie dust in your pocket, and you get all of the same benefits of staying at a Disney Resort I mentioned above. Some of them come with family suites. These can fit up to six people so you can look at booking two of these or one of these and a standard size room.

I recommend checking out the current specials being offered, as you might also find a package that offers you a discount that can help maximize the magic.  Quick service dining is another great option to save time and spread the magic a bit further as they tend to be very affordable, and for arrivals after January 9, 2024, Disney Dining Plans are returning. You can choose between a Quick Service Dining Plan and regular Dining Plan.

To help you plan this vacation of your dreams, I recommend calling Disney Reservations who can help you plan a Vacation Package that best suits your needs, family size, and budget.  They are like your Fairy Godparents who with a Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo will make magic happen for you.

I hope this helps you, Brian. If you have any further questions, stop back to see us. We are just the second star to the right and straight on til morning!

    See ya real soon!
