Hi Donna! You definitely need to make Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs) for table service meals at the Parks, Resort hotels and Downtown Disney. ADRs guarantee that you have a meal at a specific restaurant at a specific time and without them, dining at any table service meal is not guaranteed. The popular table service meals are often full at the busiest meal times of the day. This does not mean that there may be an occasion or two that a table service meal is available for seating by walk-in at less popular time to eat a meal, however, with hungry kids in tow, it can be very frustrating to be turned away.

I would like to recommend that you make ADRs for table service meals for Breakfast and/or Dinner meals on days that you plan to visit the Parks.  We usually have either a table service meal for breakfast or dinner on the days that we visit the Parks so that we are not over planned. We usually have Counter/Quick Service meals for the other two meals either at the Park or the Resort hotel. There are so many great Counter/Quick service meal locations everyone is satisfied. Hope this helps.
