As a family of 5 - Mum, Dad and kids 11, 9 & 4 would we have more space in a beach club hotel room or a beach club studio villa?

    Greetings Joanna,

Thank you for posting your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You must be so excited about your upcoming trip! Your children are at such a wonderful age to enjoy all the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort.

You can't go wrong whether you decide to stay at Disney's Beach Club Resort or Disney's Beach Club Villas. Both comfortably accommodate a family of five and both offer your little ones full access to Stormalong Bay. Many guests rave that this is the best-themed swimming area they have ever experienced.

That being said, there are some subtle differences between the deluxe studio of Disney's Beach Club Villas and the standard guest room of Disney's Beach Club Resort. Although the standard room is roughly 25 square feet larger than the deluxe studio, the second bed in the villas is a sleeper sofa that folds away whenever you want it to do so. The twin bed under the television also folds up into a cabinet during the day. Thus, there's more walking room in the deluxe studio. The deluxe studio also offers the added convenience of a microwave and toaster. Therefore, if I were trying to decide between the two accommodations you mentioned, I'd be inclined to book the deluxe studio at Disney's Beach Club Villas.

Wishing you and your family many magical memories,
    Jill
