Hi there! My family (mum dad husband and 2 year old) and I are coming to stay at Disney's AOA resort in march 2014. We do not have a car and were wondering how easy it is to get to international drive from the resort and back again. thanks!

    Hi Jayne!

Getting to International Drive from Disney's Art of Animation Resort is just a short cab ride away.  You can easily catch a cab from your resort.  While it's easy to do, fares will add up, so if your planning on several trips, see if you can condense them so that you can save some money.

If you plan on making several trips to that area, you might look into renting a car, as multiple fares can quickly add up to the cost of a rental.

Lynx is also an option, and it would cost less, but take more time to get from one place to another.  You'd have to take Disney Transportation to Downtown Disney, and then cross the road to find the Lynx stop.

Traveling with a 2 year old in tow, I'd probably vote for the taxi.

    Have a magical vacation!
